With its stocky body, bulky head, tusks and 16 kg, the wild boar is a mammal of the relatively impressive family of swine. The latter generally lives in the woods and has rather nocturnal manners. Indeed, it will sleep during the day and start to activate after dark to find food. A wild boar eats fruit as well as roots or meat and can sometimes travel several kilometers for food.
