The zebra is a herbivorous mammal. It belongs to the family of equines, like horses and donkeys. The zebra measures between 1.2 and 1.5 meters at the withers, for a weight ranging from 175 to 4 kg. The zebra's morphology is adapted to the race. It can run at maximum speeds between 56 and 64 km / h. During their development the zebras gain speed, they often move to search for food. An average zebra lives 25 to 3 years (up to 4 years in a zoo). He has the pace, the speed and the safe hoof peculiar to equines.
