With a wingspan of up to 2.65 m for 11 kg, the vulture is one of the largest raptors in France! Its long wings cut in the shape of fingers at the ends give it a great look in flight. We recognize it by the color of its plumage which can range from brown to cream, its long neck and its small head covered with a fine white down. The vulture's diet will play an important ecological role and help prevent the transmission of disease.
