The white-tailed deer is a mammal of the deer family, native to America. His big eyes cast a piercing look on everything that moves around him. It has a very sensitive smell which allows it to perceive odors up to 9m from their source. It lives mainly east of the Rocky Mountains, in forests, marshes and clearings and feeds on plants and fruits.
